Footy made a long-awaited return to our screens this weekend, and with it comes another weekly edition of Nana's Power Rankings.

1. Gabe's Team (2-0)

Last Week: 3rd

Gabe's Team claimed the big scalp of BOO in Round 2 and jump to the top spot in the power rankings, remaining one of only two unbeaten sides in the competition.

Their total of 1445 was their second consecutive score exceeding 1400, with six players scoring above 80 en route to a statement victory over one of the league's most threatening sides.

With the winless UUFFT up next, Gabe's Team look destined for a 3-0 start to 2020.

2. NANA Winner (1-1)

Last Week: 4th

They were unlucky in Round 1, but NANA Winner didn't put a foot wrong in Round 2, totalling an incredible score of 1738 and showing all the doubters that they're still the team to beat this season.

NANA Winner featured an astounding 13 players who would've surpassed 100 with 20-minute quarters, leaving The UUFFT with little to no hope of avoiding an 0-2 record.

If NANA Winner's Round 1 performance hasn't already been forgotten, it certainly will be after they cruise to 2-1 with Heeney Some Milk in Round 3.

Todd Goldstein was Round 2's top scorer with 127

3. BOOOOooOOooOOOO! (1-1)

Last Week: 1st

After a big win in the season opening Grand Final rematch, BOO came up against another Nana's heavyweight this weekend, only this time they struggled to back up their stellar Round 1 performance.

No longer top of the table or top of the power rankings, BOO still find themselves above Beat Jesse due to their scoring consistency that they've shown time and time again.

Carruthers' side also boasts a dream fixture over the coming weeks, avoiding fellow top-four sides until Round 8.

4. Beat Jesse (2-0)

Last Week: 2nd

A strong outing in Round 1 had the league on notice, but although they escape Round 2 with a 2-0 record, a 16-point win over the lowly Heeney Some Milk leaves a lot to be desired from one of 2020's strongest lists.

While the star players at Beat Jesse didn't find their trademark form in Round 2, they still did enough to avoid an embarrassing loss to last year's wooden spooners ... just.

It's unlikely their stars will have another weekend like this, meaning Beat Jesse can look ahead with clear eyes and more importantly a 2-0 record.

5. The Catholic Church (1-1)

Last Week: 7th

After a disappointing week in Round 1, The Catholic Church managed to bounce back with a strong win over Max's Team and avoid falling to 0-2.

The Catholic Church's 1471 was Round 2's second highest score as they quickly - albeit twelve weeks later - put their poor Round 1 total behind them and showed the league what their exciting pool of youthful talent is truly capable of.

6. Max's Team (1-1)

Last Week: 6th

After starting the season with a thumping win over Heeney Some Milk, Max's Team were handed a swift reality check against the youthful Catholic Church in Round 2.

Their weekend started off strong thanks to Brodie Grundy and Scott Pendlebury on Thursday night, but from that point onwards it was only negatives for coach Read's side, with their Round 1 win suddenly looking like it could be their only one for a while.

7. The UUFFT (0-2)

Last Week: 5th

Sometimes the fixture is your best friend, other times you find yourself going head-to-head with potentially one of the highest totals of the season, as was the case for The UUFFT whose usually competitive score of 1426 was no match for NANA Winner's astounding 1738.

The UUFFT's overall total proves that they're better than their current 0-2 record, but with a tough fixture ahead - including a match against the undefeated Gabe's Team in Round 3 - they somehow must find a way to get their first win on the board.

Despite a 123 from their captain Max Gawn, The UUFFT fell to 0-2

8. Heeney Some Milk (0-2)

Last Week: 8th

They managed to avoid being the lowest scoring side but Heeney Some Milk still find themselves 0-2 after a narrow loss to Beat Jesse in the dying minutes.

Despite a poor captaincy decision, an unavoidable Lachlan Ash donut and a Tom Phillips 101 stranded on the bench, Heeney Some Milk somehow still came within 16 points of Roberts' side, but while it's nice to see some young players put up numbers, it's possible Holland's men just blew their best chance at a win for the coming weeks.

Round 3 Fixture

The Catholic Church (1-1, 5th) vs. Beat Jesse (2-0, 2nd)

Max's Team (1-1, 6th) vs. BOOOOooOOooOOOO! (1-1, 4th)

NANA Winner (1-1, 3rd) vs. Heeney Some Milk (0-2, 8th)

Gabe's Team (2-0, 1st) vs. The UUFFT (0-2, 7th)
