An update on free agency acquisitions across Nana's.
The 0-5 Heeney Some Milk wasted no time in swooping on the in-form Nick Coffield (DEF), delisting Charlie Ballard for the 20-year-old defender.
Coffield spent eight games with Heeney Some Milk in 2019, averaging 59.5 before being delisted at the season’s end.
Coffield has been on the radar of many coaches throughout the league, with The Catholic Church also placing a claim on the defender as well as NANA Winner passing up the opportunity to sign him after Round 5.
The Catholic Church’s failed bid on Coffield, who is averaging 72.6 over his last three games, forced them into signing 30-year-old Zach Tuohy (DEF), who also spent time with Heeney Some Milk in 2019.
Mason Redman, who was signed off the waivers by The Catholic Church in April, found himself back on the waivers once again after making way for the Tuohy signing.
While The Catholic Church has been public in their struggles to field a strong defensive lineup, reigning premiers NANA Winner made their fourth move of 2020, signing Bayley Fritsch (DEF, FWD) - who was once a defender with The Catholic Church - after his strong 84-point performance in Round 5.
Fritsch was drafted by NANA Winner and quickly traded to The Catholic Church in the only Draft Day trade for 2020, but with the delisting of Sydney Stack, the 23-year-old swingman has found his way back to NANA Winner.
